Bio

I’m Erin Black, and I’ve spent nearly 12 years in education, primarily teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE), with a passion for preparing students for life beyond high school. One thing I love about Career Elevation and Technology Center is the diversity of our students and the programs that we have to offer. Outside of work, I race and ride for fun with my women's cycling club, and I'm devoted to my dog, Penny Lane, who often joins me on hiking and camping adventures. I'm deeply connected to the outdoors and environmental causes. After losing my husband in a work accident in 2021, I've found purpose and healing through acts of service and time in nature.
