Automotive Systems
This comprehensive course provides in-depth instruction in essential automotive systems, focusing on for key areas: HVAC systems, suspension and steering, manual drive trains and axles, and automotic transmission/transaxle service. Students develop a solid understaning of these key automotive systems and their interrelations, as well as acquire practical skills in diagnosis and service. Key Topic Include:
- ASE 1040: Suspension and Steering I- Gain a foundational understanding of vehicle suspension and steering systems. Students will learn about the various components, their functions, and the importance of proper alignment and handling for vehicle performance.
- ASE 1050: Manual Drivetain and Axle-Delve into manual drive train systems and axle assemblies, covering components, operation, and maintenance. Hands-on experience will provide insight into the diagnosis and repair of common issues.
- ASE 2050: Auto Trans/Transaxle Service- Learn the principles of automatic transmission and transxle systems, including fluid dynamics, electronic controls, and troubleshooting techniques. Students will engage in practical exercises to understand service procedures and repair techniques.
This course is ideal for aspiring automotive technicians seeking a through grounding in critical automotive systems, setting the stage for further specialization in the field.
