Medical Foundations
This concurrent credit course introduces students to communication within healthcare via computer technology, analyzing types and styles of communication, communication software and techniques for overcoming communication barriers. It also includes ethical and legal implications in healthcare, personal information management, and organization in healthcare, and provides students introductory skills in pharmacology, nutrition, anatomy, and physiology.
