Introduction to Machining
Step into the world of precision manufacturing with our Introduction to Machining course. This hands-on program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the principals and practices of traditional machining. Whether you are considering a career in manufacturing, engineering, or simply with to understand the fascinating art of shaping raw materials into functional components, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of machining. In this course, students will advance their skills obtained in Principles of Manufacturing and work on machines such as the Vertical Mill, Engine Lathe, and other supporting equipment. This course offers concurrent enrollment with Metropolitan State University, which includes a deeper dive within the various manufacturing processes in the industry.
