Precision Machining
Step into the world of precision manufacturing with our 2nd year Machining course. This hands-on course builds upon what students learned in Principles of Manufacturing and provides them a comprehensive dive into the world of manual machining, and the fascinating art of shaping raw materials into functional components. In this course, students will advance their skills and work on machines such as the Vertical Mill, Engine Lathe, and associated tooling and equipment. Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent credit through Metropolitan State University.
Students must successfully complete CTE 9130 Principles of Manufacturing with a "C" or better in order to take this course.
