Digital Video Production
In Digital Video Production students will get an introduction to the principles and techniques of video production, including: camera operaton, basic script writing, lighting, sound, and basic digital editing. Detailed examination of three elements of filmmaking: pre-production, production, and post-production, with an emphasis on post production including: media management, editing tools, titles, motion control, transtitions, and special effects. Students will make a variety of films in this class and are encouraged to enter a local film festival. The class covers relevant tools and techniques as well as industry standards, delivery methods, and output. Upon completion, students will be able to take the Adobe Certified Assoicate exam in Video Communication Using Adobe Premiere Pro.
