- I'm Austin Reid, and this is my second year teaching in the Advanced Manufacturing Academy at the Career Elevation and Technology Center. Previous to teaching, I have worked in the manufacturing industry for 17 years. One thing I love about teaching at the CETC is the opportunity to get young people excited about making things in the real world. Seeing students learn skills and gain confidence in my classroom is empowering. I enjoy snowboarding, board sports, and mountain biking in my free time. I also play pickleball. I also have a wife and two children in the St. Vrain Valley School District.
